Deep in the jungle of Borneo Island,
there lives many different indigenous tribes - Iban, Dayak,
Orang Ulu, Kelabit, Punan, Melanau, etc. They are friendly
people (as against the well known impression as head hunters)
and they always welcome visitors.

Most of these people live in longhouses.
Longhouse is the traditional dwelling place of the native peoples of
Borneo. A longhouse is like a single floor apartment building on
stilts. Each family gets a room and the whole village shares a
longhouse.
